An early settler in the Russian River Valley, Civil War Veteran, Colonel James Armstrong sought to protect hundreds of acres of local redwood trees forever. Today, visitors enjoy the Armstrong Redwoods thanks to his leadership and the grass-root efforts of his daughter and friends. We honor Colonel James with our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
